Micro fiction : "The Disaster." (100 words)

"The Disaster"

Before christianity, the Amago people worshipped a fierce deity – Kabaala. He demanded total devotion, instructing that failure would entail an undisclosed doom.

Amago had been sincere in service.

One year, after a four-day worship, the paramount ruler permitted them to go get food and return for the fifth. Alas!  Kabaala, same night, strangled a quarter,  about seven thousand; cut each strangled person in pieces and placed each piece, continuously dripping blood, at the entrance and compounds of  each household.

Same night, the ruler was  mysteriously harpooned. Muu Zor-kol, their only stream, turned bloody. The ensuing cry was unprecedented.
